1935 Explosion-protected crane systems up to a lifting capacity of 100,000 kg are produced, mainly for the chemical industry.
1953The company presents as world innovation the first explosion-protected flameproof enclosed electric wire rope hoist.
2003ATEX product directive 94/9/EC is implemented for the whole product range without exception.
2009STAHL CraneSystems offers the world’s largest portfolio of explosion-protected hoisting technology, drive technology and control technology.
2010The product range is certified in compliance with the internationally recognised IECEx scheme.
2011Off-standard wire rope hoists for the LNG sector gain high worldwide acceptance.
